Supporting Those Who are Recovering from Addiction
A New Life Halfway House provides transitional living places for those in recovery from drugs and/or alcohol. In some states, the term "sober living house" is used because of legal requirements. Some people go to halfway houses from a treatment center, prison, or a homeless situation, while others go there to be in a sober, clean environment to begin the recovery process. Some residents are in a halfway house due to court orders. A New Life Halfway House (located in beautiful downtown Lantana, FL, established in 2012) provides a 24-hour, on-site staff and access to AA/NA meetings.
A New Life Halfway House provides very friendly, affordable, and supportive adult substance abuse treatment programs. Services that can be provided to referred adults with substance abuse problems include:
- Screening and Referral
- Linkage to the appropriate level of treatment and treatment program
- Meetings with AA/NA are on and off-site
